Meet the 2022 Ontario’s Blue Coast Summer Students

Meet the 2023 Ontario’s Blue Coast summer students. Follow us on social media and join the summer students as they visit fun and exciting attractions and businesses throughout Lambton County.

Megan:

My name is Megan Rivait. I am 20 years old and graduated from Great Lakes Secondary School in 2021. I am currently entering my third year at Brock University, where I am studying English Language and Literature. Although I love living in the Niagara Region while at school, I am so glad to be home in Sarnia-Lambton for the summer! Enjoying the beaches, famous Sarnia sunsets, and having fun across the county with my friends are my favourite things to do while home. This is my second summer working at Tourism Sarnia-Lambton, and I couldn’t be more excited! There is nowhere like Lambton County, and I cannot wait to share all of my amazing experiences along Ontario’s Blue Coast with you all!

Haley:

Hi, my name is Haley Mckinlay, I am 17 years old and will be attending Windsor University in the fall. I will be double majoring in disability studies and social work. This is my first summer working at Tourism Sarnia Lambton, so join me as we explore the county together. After living in the area my whole life I thought I had seen it all, but working here has opened my eyes to new waters and many attractions that will be filling this summer with loads of fun.

Chloe:

My name is Chloe Williams. I am 19 years old and graduated from Northern Collegiate in 2021. I now attend McMaster University for the Commerce program, and will be heading into my third year in September. In the upcoming years, I hope to further focus my studies into finance or marketing. I have lived in Lambton County all of my life and some of my favourite things to do while home in the summer include going to the beach with friends, walking my dog through one of the many parks, paddleboarding along the calm lake, or getting ice cream and watching the sunset under the bridge.

Baillie:

Hey! My name is Baillie. I’m 18 years old and I graduated from Northern Colliegiate in 2022. In the fall I will be going into my 2nd year studying Graphic Communications Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. I love hanging out with my friends at Grand Bend beach and sipping Blackwater Coffee in downtown Sarnia. I cannot wait for you guys see what awesome events Lambton county has in store this summer!

Ethan:

My name is Ethan Pearson. I am 22 years old and I am home from school for the summer! I am currently attending Durham College in the Video Production program. I just finished my second year at Durham this past April and I have 2 years left to go. I graduated from Northern in 2019 with some good grades I suppose you could say. I enjoy watching and playing sports such as football and track and field, as well as basketball and baseball. I also enjoy skateboarding and have really gotten into playing golf with my friends lately. There is nothing quite like spending the summers on the beautiful blue coast of Lambton County so I’m very happy to be back in town!
