Now that the warm weather is in full-swing, make the most of summer and enjoy the outdoors. Good thing it was “Patio Week” at TSL! The Tourism Sarnia-Lambton summer students travelled across the county to scope out various patios, each one being lovely and unique. We wanted to share the awesome locations we went to below and encourage you to check them out.
Sarnia & Bright’s Grove
Roxy Lounge
This charming restaurant joined the downtown core of Sarnia in 2024 and has been an exciting new taste for locals and tourists. Roxy Lounge serves Nepali cuisine and prides themselves on their momos. While enjoying their all-around delicious menu, those dining in can sit on the covered patio and enjoy the downtown scene. The patio is bright and full of greenery, making it a really beautiful spot!
Dockside Restaurant & Bar
The view on this patio is unmatched – the Sarnia Bay captures the city in a beautiful light while the water adds a completely unique experience to any meal. The warm breeze along the water is what summer is all about! Luckily, no one is left out of this ultimate dining experience because Dockside is dog-friendly! You do not want to miss out on the food, the view, and the experience as a whole.
Skeeter Barlow’s
Skeeter Barlow’s, found in Bright’s Grove, has a beautiful view of Lake Huron. The patio offers a relaxing environment for tasty meals and lovely visits with loved ones. While enjoying Skeeter’s, the sound of waves crashing onto the shore and view of boats, paddleboards, and beach-goers add to the meal, making it the perfect summer spot! Check out their other location in Forest, as well!
Corunna
Bad Dog
This Lambton County classic has two locations with patios! The summer students visited the Corunna location, which is entirely screened in. The screen is perfect for keeping in the warmth on cool evenings and keeping out pesky bees. The patio features a few different TVs to allow their customers to enjoy various games while soaking in the river view. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly patio option, stop by their Sarnia location.
Burger Rebellion
Next up is Burger Rebellion! They understand the importance of supporting local, which is why their burgers are made with local beef from Ontario. Their patio offers a shaded spot to sit and relax with the whole family – even your furry friend! This is a lovely place to stop for any meal, even breakfast! Visit their Sarnia locations too!
Antonio’s
This pizza place and sports bar has something for everyone. Antonio’s patio is surrounded by greenery which is such a beautiful detail. Known for their pizza – which you have to try – yet they definitely draw people in with their charming patio. Due to their location in Corunna, the small town charm is visible from every seat. You’ll understand quickly why it’s so loved! Their patio is also dog-friendly!
Wyoming
Local Wyoming
Local Wyoming has recently changed owners and they have poured their hearts into every part of their business. The passion can be seen through their service, food, drinks, and beautiful patio. Once you have been to Local Wyoming once, you’ll return again and again. Enjoy their incredible food on their patio this summer! You’ll be able to see some images from Lambton County Archives which elevates the entire dining experience. Bring your pups along for a yummy meal.
