Village of Point Edward

The Village of Point Edward welcomes all visitors to its vibrant waterfront community. Situated along the shores of the St. Clair River this village has much to offer. Home to an OLG casino, the Blue Water Bridge, great restaurants, and beautiful views this is a must-do destination in Lambton County. The annual race to Mackinac Island is not to be missed, boats from all over Canada and the USA to participate in this lively race.

Whether you’re stopping by for an afternoon or a few days there is plenty to see and do here. During the summer months visitors and locals enjoy delicious fresh-cut French fries under the Blue Water Bridge. From there they can stroll along the river’s shore to watch all kinds of boats sail under the bridges. Down a little ways from the bridge is OLG Casino Point Edward that features 450 slot machines and 30 gaming tables.

The Bluewater Anglers is very active in Point Edward and hosts many events during the spring and summer season. There is a Hatchery Open House in March, Family Fun Fish Day in July, a walleye derby in August and then a big fish derby in September.
