Plympton-Wyoming
Located in Central Lambton, the town of Plympton-Wyoming is a community of 7,500. As a result of a 2001 amalgamation, the community features a strong mixture of rural and urban lifestyles.
Tucked away in Camlachie you will find Bonnie Doon Golf and Country Club. This beautiful 27-hole facility offers a great round to all levels of golfers, and a great meal afterwards. Not to be missed are two campgrounds located within the municipality. Lakewood Christian Campground is a family owned and operated park. Where meeting new friends and creating lasting memories is all a part of the Lakewood experience. Paradise Valley Campground can also be found here. This campground boasts 400 sites, full hook-ups, tent and cabin sites, a petting zoo, mini-golf, two pools, and a “Bounce Pillow”. The family will love it here!
In May, the County Ceilidh – East Coast Music, Food and Dancing comes to the Camlachie Community Centre. Visitors can expect to see some bagpipers, Irish dancers, and great East Coast style music. Camlachie will be the place to be on May 26, 2013. No other festival in Lambton County celebrates the East Coast like the County Ceilidh does!
