Best Sunset Spots In Sarnia-Lambton

As the warm weather starts to shine, Sarnia-Lambton lakefront views begin to see an influx of people watching and waiting for that perfect sunset. If you’re one of those people then this post is for you! Below is a list created based on personal preference and the word of other locals forming the best sunset spots in Sarnia-Lambton.

Bluewater Bridge
It only feels proper to start off with a classic like the Bluewater Bridge. Definitely one of the most popular sunset spots and what goes better with a sunset than bridge fries and ice cream?

Pinery Provincial Park
Rumour has it that National Geographic dubbed The Pinery as one of the top 10 sunset spots in the world. Although I’m yet to find an actual article to prove this I can still believe it. With 10km of sandy beaches you’re bound to find a beautiful spot to stop and watch an equally as beautiful sunset.

Brights Grove Beach
Along the beach near Kenwick Park is one of the best spots in Brights Grove for watching the sunset. You can stay up at the top of the rocks or venture down to feel the sand in your toes for a more authentic beach view.

St. Clair Riverfront
You may find wonderful views anywhere along the riverfront but Guthrie Park will provide you with walking trails, lush green scenery, and most importantly fry trucks!

Canatara Beach
Head over to Canatara Beach for an evening swim and watch the sunset from the water. If you want a more secluded area to watch the sunset a short stroll down the beach will bring you to The Cove.

Grand Bend
Just like The Pinery, Grand Bend is rumoured to have been in National Geographic’s top 10 best sunset spots. What I think makes Grand Bend unique to some of the other beach spots is that it faces west towards the sunset and has many more activities in the vicinity to complete in the post sunset glow.

There are many more fantastic spots all across Sarnia-Lambton to watch the sunset from so don’t stop exploring and sharing your perfect sunset spot with others!
