Starting off with one of the nicest parks in Lambton County, the Aamjiwnaang skatepark sits just across from the community center. It is a large park with smooth metal ramps and dozens of features that include a dual level half pipe, lots of pyramid-style ramps with gaps and step ups, as well as several flat-down rails and boxes. It offers several quarter pipes with the biggest being over 12 feet tall. This park offers the perfect mix of park and street coming together for a super smooth riding experience! Would definitely recommend checking it out!
Harry Turnbull Skatepark – 235 Maxwell St, Sarnia, ON.
The Harry Turnbull Skatepark is a very unique park. It’s 100% concrete and its main feature is a large kidney shaped bowl that is quite long and pretty shallow in relation. However, that makes for a great place to learn harder tricks before bringing them to a steeper quarter. The park also has 3 large cement hill features with the biggest one leading into the bowl. This park is more catered to bowl and vert riders with not many technical aspects besides a long flat rail along the south side of the bowl, as well as two sizes of flat-down-flat rails on the side.
Tecumseh Skatepark – 340 Russell St S, Sarnia, ON.
The newly renovated Tecumseh skatepark is fantastic, having undergone an extensive rebuild and lots of upgrades. What used to be a small metal park is now a full concrete street plaza! Perfectly designed for those technical riders, this park offers lots of space for flatground tricks. The park is also full of different sizes of rails, boxes, ledges, hubbas, and much more! It has five foot copings on the far side to help get speed, plus the park also offers a five stair with down rail to the right side. The city had also added a beautiful deep bowl off to the side which allows riders to flow around smoothly and transition with ease. So, you definitely will want to come check out this newly renovated park in Sarnia if you have a passion for skating in the city!
