🍂 Experience the Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival

Make your way to Lambton Heritage Museum in Grand Bend for the area’s largest annual fundraiser – the Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival. For more than 40 years, this beloved tradition has welcomed visitors under the museum’s beautiful oak forest canopy for a weekend of shopping, food, historical demonstrations, and more.
This two-day event is a great way to get a headstart on your holiday shopping! A juried artisan market will feature dozens of vendors showcasing unique handmade goods – from art, home décor and pottery, to clothing, jewelry, candles, and woodworking. You’ll also find delicious food and beverage vendors, and the perfect backdrop of autumn colours.

Celebrate 175 Years at the Brigden Fair

On Thanksgiving weekend, head to the historic Brigden Fairgrounds for Lambton County’s largest fall fair – the 2025 Brigden Fair, running October 10–13. With the theme “Home Grown, Home Made, Farm Fresh,” the fair marks its 175th anniversary with even more family fun and tradition.
Tens of thousands of visitors come to Brigden each year to enjoy a full weekend of entertainment and activities. From livestock and horse shows to the ever-popular tractor pull, midway rides, parade, grandstand shows, and more, there’s something for everyone. Families can explore exhibit buildings, children’s activities, and indulge in classic fair food and local favourites.

📸 Larry Towell: Boundaries at JNAAG
The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery welcomes internationally acclaimed photographer, poet, and oral historian Larry Towell with his exhibition Boundaries, opening October 3, 2025. A Lambton County native, Towell is celebrated for his powerful storytelling, capturing human experiences of land, loss, and resilience – from rural Ontario to conflict zones around the world.
As part of the gallery’s Art & Ideas series, Towell will host a two-part artist talk this month:
