Saturday-features a full slate of races with the original Olympic Distance Triathlon and Duathlon, and the Olympic distance Relay Triathlon and Duathlon. There is also a shorter Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon.
The Olympic Distance Triathlon and Duathlon will be held again in a chase format sponsored by the Lambton Chiropractic society. In the Chase Challenge the women getting a head start over the men, and the first athlete across the finish line, male or female is he winner.The Chase Challenge has $500 in cash prizes.
On Sunday-the kids take over with the ever popular Ironkid Triathlon. The Ironkid is limited to 100 athletes and always sells out. Sign up early!!
The Bluewater Triathlon and Duathlon weekend is hosted by volunteers from St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, Brights Grove and sponsored by Glan Fenwick Subaru, Lambton Chiropractic society, Sarnia In Motion and The Brights Grove Optimist Club.
